She is known worldwide as a stylist/fashion consultant, author, and magazine most known for her role as co-host on What Not to Wear. What Not to Wear is a American makeover show. The participants are nominated by friends, co-workers, or relatives and then they are flown to New York where the hosts on What not to Wear go through the participant's entire closet and throw away every single piece of clothing that is not "in-style" and for the most part that means that the participant's walk away with their clothes in the trash, but there is a catch: Each participant gets 5,000 to buy themselves a entire brand new wardrobe, but the new clothes have to pass Stacy and Clinton's inspection.
Stacy in well known for her grey streak in her hair, some people consider that her "signature look".
