Cocoppa

What is Cocoppa? Well it's an apple app that's free (always a plus). It allows you to re-do your iphone, ipad, and ipod as well! It lets you change a lot of your icons to cute ones like tribal prints and glitter and stuff like that. You can change you facebook, snapchat, instagram, and many more. It doesn't actually change the icon of the app all is does is creates shortcuts to the actual app. I downloaded it like 2 days ago and redid a bunch of my apps! Needless to say, I'm pretty proud of my icons at the moment. It's super cute! There are so many choices and it's very step by step! I did about 15 of my apps and it took me about an hour because there are SO many different icons to choose from! From what I can tell about the app it's mostly for girls, but guys can redo their icons too. One of the downsides about the app is that you can't create shortcuts to the apps that come with your iPhone. Ex.: messages, mail, phone, contacts, clock, calender, camera (you get the point).
You can also download printed backgrounds! There are literally hundreds of icons to choose from! So have fun!

Hairy Potter

Well, it's coming down to the last few weeks of school and everyone is SO anxious for summer. Most people in this little town are getting very sloppy about what they wear and how look INCLUDING ME! So I'm not judging! My friend Rachel is a excellent example of this, just kidding. (FYI She told me to put that) Since Ive already mentioned her in this post here's a shout out to her blog TEAM NEVILLE. If your into Harry Potter that's definitely the blog you need to check out. YES I know I mispelled Harry Potter. (Just to clear things up) I actually haven't ever watched the movies or read the books, but from what I can tell they do not dress to impress.
Rachel disagrees though. Witch is not a surprise?
(Funny pun huh? yeah I thought so)

Like what's up with his glasses?
I would just like to note that Rachel and I are getting quiet the laugh out of this picture!
Sorry this post isn't quiet like my other ones!

Pretty in Pastel's

In my last blog I talked a little bit about pastel color's. So I thought it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and blog about it.
On of my fav. way that people wear pastel's is in their hair. I know. I know. Crazy, but I just think it's so cute!
I personally could never pull it off and my mother would kill me if I came home with purple hair, but the girl's who can pull it off. I applaud you!
In my blogs I always talk about what I love and what's soooooo cute, but since were on the subject I'm going to tell y'all one thing that I do NOT like.

Kelly Osborn's "lavender" hair. I'm sorry, but that's not my definition of lavender. Her hair looks like lavender with grey highlights.
Now, back to what I like. Pastel clothing!

Summer Colors

Since I have already done a spring color blog (and summer is right around the corner!) I figured I should probably do a Summer color blog.
This summer PASTELS are a MUST!
I was looking for a good color pallet and I love this one! One of my favorite mixes is Poppy Red and Monaco Blue (or red and navy in other words).
How cute is that?
Afraid of looking like a sailor? DONT BE! And for the record sailors are so in. I mean anchor's are everywhere (fingernail's, toenail's, people are getting anchor tattoo's). And there's also the quotes. One of them being: "I refuse to sink" (and yes ill admit it is one of my favorite's) Sailor's are everywhere you look. So don't be afraid- Embrace it! Please note that when I say look like a sailor, I DON'T mean that you have to wear one of those ugly white hats and the matching white shoes.

Spring Weather What?

We all LOVE spring clothing lines.
Cute Shirts
Shorts
Flip Flops
No More Jackets
No More Cold Weather
Short Sleeve Shirts
Sunglasses

Sunday was PERFECT. The weather was sooooooooo nice! The temperature was great. The sun way shinning. I was even worried about getting a sunburn. (even though that's very common for this girl who has a very light complex, but STILL) Monday's weather was okay. It wasn't too hot, but the wind sure was blowing. Then Tuesday the weather went down hill from there. Tuesday was freezing and ever was wondering where the spring weather went? Wednesday Again. The weather was awful. Jeans. Covered Toe Shoes. Thick Coats. Not my kind of weather! All we want is REAL spring weather is that too much to ask for?

Regional UIL

Regional's in this tiny town is a huge ordeal. We have 24 students competing in the Regional meet on April 19. In my event, looking classy is a definite MUST, because it is a speaking event and there are judges. They say they don't look at your personal image, but I personally think they do. If it were REALLY close between two students and they had nothing else to judge- it would matter whether you were wearing jeans and a t-shirt (not that any one would dare to do so) or you were wearing a women's skirt suit. My "Coach" - it's hard to call her a "Coach" because she is this sweet little librarian who doesn't exactly fit the mean Coach category- She prefers us to wear black because it is classy. At the district meet I wore a white and black button up shirt, black pencil skirt, nude hose, black pointed flats, and my mother's pearl set. In a couple of weeks at Regional's I will be wearing a black top with pearls and silver beads around the neck line, black and white stripped knee length skirt, nude hose, black pumps or black flats, and my mother's pearl set once again (I'm pretty sure it's good luck), BUT I will only be wearing what is listed above if the weather allows me because we all know that the weather around here is CRAZY. Last weekend was beautiful! I'm talking jeans shorts beautiful and then this week is snows. This weather is out of control.

Spring FEVER

Spring Trends Worth Trying:

Cropped Palazzo Pants
Tunics Over Pants
Short-Sleeved Sweatshirts
Wide Stripes (one of my FAVS)
Birkenstock-Style Sandals (I don't exactly think these are a fashion statement, but that's just me)
 The Half-Tuck
 Peplum (LOVE LOVE LOVE)
Drop Waist Bottoms
Board Straight hair
Metallic
Printed Shorts
Mirrored sunglasses
Colorful sneakers
Overalls (throwback! woooo!)
Ankle Boots (not sure about this one either)
Eighties Cramped hair
Maxi Dress (I love these- and think any size or height can pull them off)
Blazers
Polka Dots
Shorts Suit
Spring Cap
Blue Smokey Eye (I would be careful with this one, colorful eye shadow can SOMETIMES make the wrong impression)

Another Fashion choice that is very popular this spring is mixing and matching print.

Spring Break

Spring break 2013!
What will you be wearing over spring break? Swim Suits and Shorts or Ski Jackets and Gloves.
Spring break is coming at the perfect time this year! In the Texas Panhandle we have no idea about the weather. One day its 77 with wind and the next day is 53 with wind. Notice the wind : Texas Panhandle wind is blowing pretty much 6 out of the 7 days of the week. This Spring break HOPEFULLY I will be wearing shorts and short sleeve tops during my free time, but everyday day over spring break(except Sunday) I will sporting either softball work out gear OR my softball uniform.

Stacy London

Stacy London was born May 25, 1969. She was born and raised in New York. She is known worldwide as a stylist/fashion consultant, author, and magazine most known for her role as co-host on What Not to Wear. What Not to Wear is a American makeover show. The participants are nominated by friends, co-workers, or relatives and then they are flown to New York where the hosts on What not to Wear go through the participant's entire closet and throw away every single piece of clothing that is not "in-style" and for the most part that means that the participant's walk away with their clothes in the trash, but there is a catch: Each participant gets 5,000 to buy themselves a entire brand new wardrobe, but the new clothes have to pass Stacy and Clinton's inspection.
Stacy in well known for her grey streak in her hair, some people consider that her "signature look".

CHANEL

The Young life of CoCo Chansel.

We all know of the legendary fashion designer Coco Chanel, but most don't really know her background. (At least I didn't) Her full name is Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel. Chanel was born on August 19, 1884 in Saumur, France. Although Chanel was named after her father Albert Chanel, he and Chanel's mother were not bewed. She was the daughter of mother, Eugénie "Jeanne" Devolle, a laundrywoman. When her mother had first given birth to Chanel her name was legally registered Chansel. Chanel was 12 years old when her mother died of a horrible case of bronchitis at the young age of 31. Chanel was not an only child either, she had 4 other siblings. Chanel's father sent his 2 sons out to work as farm laborers and sent his 3 daughters to central France. When Chanel turned 18, she was too old to remain at Aubazine, the school her and her 2 sisters were attending while in France, she was sent to a boarding house for Catholic girls in Moulins.
Chanel had a very successful business making clothing, jewelry, make-up, and perfume.
Chanel did not grow up with an easy life, she had to work for what she had.
Chanel died on January 10,1971 at the age of 87 in her sleep.
